Members of Anthrax and Suicidal Tendencies Rock Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy” While Social Distancing: Watch

Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante has kept sharp during the coronavirus pandemic by playing covers with fellow metal musicians while social distancing. He’s posted the performances on his YouTube channel, and for his latest video, he’s once again teamed with Suicidal Tendencies bassist Ra Diaz to play through Billie Eilish‘s pop hit “bad guy”.

Benante (drums and guitar) and Diaz (bass) play along to Eilish’s vocals, and as expected, rock out a bit with the arrangement. For Eilish fans, it hints at what her music would sound like with more of hard rock vibe. As it is, Eilish has already shown her appreciation for heavy metal acts like Type O Negative and Rob Zombie with her onstage attire.

Billie Eilish seeks restraining order against fan

Billie Eilish has been granted a temporary restraining order against a 24-year-old man who trespassed on her parents’ property multiple times.

A Los Angeles judge ordered Prenell Rousseau to stay 200 yards from Billie and her family members after Eilish filed papers for civil harassment protection on Monday.

As TMZ report, Rosseau turned up at Eilish’s residence a total of seven times last week. According to the report, he first appeared at the musicians house last Monday, ringing the doorbell and inquiring as to whether Eilish lived there. Billie’s father told him that she didn’t, but he returned to the house later in the evening where he exhibited “erratic behaviour”.

“While we waited for security, Mr. Rousseau remained on our porch, sat down and began to read a book, while also continuing to engage in a periodic monologue,” The court documents read .”My father repeatedly asked him to leave, but he refused…”

Rosseau was reportedly taken into custody twice that week, t law enforcement are “trying to keep non-violent offenders out of jail due to the spread of COVID-19.”

The next hearing is scheduled at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse on 1 June.

Eilish is staying at her family home during the coronavirus lockdown, after being forced to cancel her arena tour in the early weeks of the pandemic.

¡¡¡Billie Eilish Worked on New Song During Quarantine!!!

Billie Eilish has been having a productive quarantine.

The singer discussed recording new music and fostering dogs in a recent interview with Beats 1’s Zane Lowe.

I know that everybody, like the beginning of this really got to people,” Eilish said. “I didn’t really have that experience because I cheated. I rescued two puppies, or fostered two puppies. I was completely distracted.”

She continued, “We’ve been in the ‘stu,’ which just means Finneas’ basement, basically. We actually, we wrote a whole song in its entirety—an entire song, which is kind of rare for us. I really love it. It was like exactly what I needed to say when we wrote it.”

While she misses touring and performing, saying “that feeling does not exist anywhere else,” she’s trying to remain hopeful during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Honestly, I feel great,” she said. “The song I was talking about earlier that we wrote a couple weeks ago that felt so right was … I wish I could sing it for you, but I can’t. It was just about, there was this part in it—I needed to say this—which was I know I’m supposed to feel unhappy right now because of this break and because I’m not seeing anybody … I feel like there’s this kind of thing that I feel like is floating around of like you’re supposed to be missing people. You’re supposed to be missing this person and be missing people in general. I kind of have this feeling of like, I miss my really close friends, I miss people, of course I do, but I also at the same time am liking the space.”

She added, “I’m liking that everybody can kind of grow right now. I hope that people are letting themselves grow instead of just reminiscing and wishing they were with other people.

She also talked about launching her father-daughter Apple Music show, Me & Dad Radio, which debuted on May 8.

Bono compares Billie Eilish to Roy Orbinson on Songs That Saved My Life playlist

Bono compares Billie Eilish to Roy Orbinson on Songs That Saved My Life playlist

Bono is celebrating his 60th birthday. To commemorate the occasion, the U2 frontman has shared a playlist called ’60 Songs That Saved My Life’.

These are some of the songs that saved my life,’ Bono shared of the playlist. “The ones I couldn’t have lived without… the ones that got me from there to here, zero to 60… through all the scrapes, all manner of nuisance, from the serious to the silly… and the joy, mostly joy.’”

The playlist features tracks by a bunch of the most iconic musicians in history, like the Beatles, Patti Smith, Kanye West, Daft Punk, David Bowie, Nirvana, Massive Attack, Iggy Pop, Arcade Fire, Jay Z, Kraftwerk, Public Enemy, and more. Bono also gave a nod to dark pop wunderkind Billie Eilish and her brother and co-conspirator, FINNEAS.

In accompaniment to the playlist, Bono took the time to write a letter to each artist behind the music. In an Instagram post, Bono sung the praises of Eilish’s WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? track ‘everything i wanted’.

Dear Billie (Finneas too), he wrote.

My ears long for such empty spaces to wander… to sneak away from the density of digital surfaces with too much information… I step inside your song and it’s a black beauty, achingly awesomely vulnerable and terrifying, fearless and worrisome… but you are not worried by all that. You express it so you can own the feeling that nags.

I think of Carole King. I think of Roy Orbison.

But just like them, this never existed before you did.

Your fan,

Bono.

To be compared to songwriting greats Carole King and Roy Orbinson is nothing to sneeze at.

Billie Eilish’s Neon Roots Are Still Going Strong in This Adorable Selfie With Her Foster Puppy

Billie Eilish has been keeping fairly quiet on social media since the COVID-19 crisis started and stay-at-home orders were put into effect. That being said, the Bad Guy singer has been giving her fans glimpses here and there of what she’s been up to. For instance, she recently revealed that she’s working on an Apple Music show with her dad. And other than that, she’s been staying busy at home with two foster puppies — one of which made an adorable appearance in a new selfie on the singer’s Instagram Story.

While Eilish hasn’t been sharing many selfies lately, this one was simply too precious not to post. In it, she appears to be relaxing in bed with her hair tied up in a bun, and one of the puppies is nuzzled against her neck, sleeping soundly. Cute doesn’t even begin to cover it. What’s more: Being beauty buffs, we couldn’t help but notice that the wunderkind’s famous neon roots are still intact, which is pretty impressive considering it’s been quite some time since she’s been able to see a professional colorist.

It’s definitely possible that Eilish has been tending to her roots on her own with an at-home dye, such as Manic Panic’s Classic High Voltage Hair Color in the shade Electric Lizard, which is very similar to the vibrant, slime-green hue that her roots have been since last year.

Of course, it’s impossible to know for sure how the singer is keeping up with her hair color while self-isolating at home, but one thing is for sure: She’s making it work.

Billie Announces Radio Show With Her Dad
 May 8th, 2020

Billie Announces Radio Show With Her Dad

Billie Eilish and her father, actor Patrick O’Connell, are launching a new radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1. The six-episode show, adorably called me & dad Radio, will feature a variety of handpicked music from Eilish and her father, and plenty of conversation about the tunes that they love. The show airs tomorrow, 8 May, at noon PST.

In a statement, the Grammy Award-winning artist said, “My dad and I…have had this relationship over the years of music-sharing with each other. It’s kind of like a thing everybody knows.” She continued, “My dad has shown me some of my favourite songs in the world, and I’ve shown him songs that he loves and adores.”

O’Connell chimed in, adding “That was the genesis of this whole show: I’ll play you a bunch of stuff you don’t know that I think is great”.

Eilish’s mother, Maggie Baird, will also make an appearance in one of the episodes.

The radio show is the second that Eilish has hosted for Beats 1. In 2018, prior to the release of her chart-topping debut, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, the artist launched groupies have feelings too along with her brother and musical collaborator, FINNEAS.

The pop artist and her close-knit family have been keeping busy while isolating. In April, Eilish and FINNEAS performed multiple intimate performances from home for a variety of causes, including Verizon’s weekly Pay It Forward Live series, which raises funds for small businesses. The siblings chose to shine a spotlight on their mother’s Support + Feed, an organisation that supports plant-based restaurants and helps feed essential workers on the front lines.

The duo also performed a cover of Bobby Hebb’s 1966 hit ‘Sunny’, for Global Citizen’s One World: Together At Home live-stream broadcast. They joined artists like Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Lizzo and The Rolling Stones, to raise nearly $128 million for the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

Today also marks the final day of voting for the 2020 Webby People’s Voice Awards, where fans are encouraged to vote for the best content on the internet. A viral video of Billie Eilish watching fans cover her songs – produced by Glamour and Condé Nast Entertainment– is among the nominees.
